Hello, I'm only assuming you're here because you're dying to read quite a few large (not to mention extremely boring) paragraphs about myself. If so, congratulations, you've come to the right place.

I'll start off with the basics. As you might have read on the main page, my name is Jami. The pronunciation of my name might not be too obvious to some of you, but it's really not that difficult to figure out. No, it's not pronounced like jam-me or jay-my, sorry to disappoint you. My dear friends, it's an every day name. By now I'm sure you've concluded it is pronounced jay-me. If you have, you are correct. If not, you probably need help. Or maybe my mom should have spelled my name correctly, who knows.

Anyway, now that we have that out of the way..
If you've visited my face page I'm sure the next sentence will throw you off guard, being that I look about fourteen. I'm currently twenty-two years old. Yes, twenty-two. I know, it's awfully hard to believe. My date of birth is 9 March, making my zodiac sign Pisces or The Fish. As some of you know, my URL used to be fiskarna, which is the Swedish word for fish, fisherman, or Pisces, which ties into my birth date rather well, if I do say so myself. If you didn't know what my previous URL meant before you read this, and you were just so curious to find out, you can now go on your merry way with the satisfaction of knowing.

I suppose some of you might be interested in some personal details about myself. If not, you might as well skip over these next couple paragraphs.
Again, if you've stalked my face page, surely you've noticed my many hair colours (though I deleted most of them). You're probably thinking (or probably not), "What in God's name is her natural hair colour?!," well, this is where you'll find your answer. Naturally, my hair is blonde. Ash blonde, to be specific. When I was born, and probably up to age twelve, my hair was extremely blonde, but then I did something I regret more than anything: I dyed my hair. So now, my hair grows in as a dark blonde colour and the only way it'll ever be naturally light again is if I go outside in the sun loads to the point my hair begins to lighten, which has consequences, since I am extrememly pale my skin will incinerate (not literally of course) and that just wouldn't be a good time, now would it? Like most people with naturally blonde hair, I have light blue eyes. Yes, I know, you're surprised. They're usually a light grey colour, though, which I actually prefer over blue. I'd say I am quite tall for a female. I'm about 5'10". I know, being that I look fourteen, you probably imagined me being a cute, normal size like 5'3" or something. Sorry, again, for disappointing you. Well, I guess that's basically all I meant when I said personal details about myself.

You might want to know where I'm from now. Well, in my opinon, I live in one of the most boring states in America. It's actually terrible. If you're reading this and you're thinking to yourself, "No, my state is the most boring," please come to Ohio. It will make you happy to be where you're from. Unless, you too, are from Ohio. In that case, we can both cry about our misfortunate birth location together. Though I was born in Ohio, I moved to another state when I was about fourteen. That state would be Florida. I know, most of you probably think I was lucky to go to such a cool state (unless you actually live there), but I hate to tell you Florida is far from cool. Let's just say I prefer Ohio weather over Florida any day, which says a lot. I only lived in Florida for a couple years, though. We moved back to Ohio soon after and honestly I'm happy we did. Other than missing my friends there, Ohio is much more my taste when it comes to climate. It may be the most boring state, but it could be worse in other ways, right?

Surprisingly enough, I do have a family. I know, pretty unheard of. Family, psh. What's that?! Well, my immediate family includes my younger sister and my mother. My sister's name is Abigail. (She likes to be called Abbi, though.) She's currently twenty years old. Her and I don't get along too well; we have completely different aspirations and outlooks on life. Our personalities clash really badly, so usually us being in the same room results in bad vibes and an unpleasant exchanging of words. Though we don't get along, I love her nonetheless (but only because I have to). Kidding, of course. Anyway, my mom. My mom and I have a weird relationship. When we get along, we get along so extremely well. She is one of the only people I can actually have honest laughs with and be completely open with. On the other hand, when we don't get along, it's basically World War III (not really, I just like exaggerating) but it is pretty bad. I sometimes feel like the outcast in my house (probably because I am) and often I don't feel like this is really my 'home', per se, but I do love those two more than anything and I wouldn't trade them for the world (..or maybe I would. It depends, I guess. It would have to be an awfully good trade, though).

Now, I'm sure some of you are wondering about my hobbies. I really don't have any, in all honesty. I basically enjoy staying indoors and playing video games or listening to music. Some video games I fancy would be Fable, Kingdom Hearts, Left 4 Dead, any of the Mario games (Mario Party, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart Wii, Paper Mario, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Sunshine, Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, and loads more), Resident Evil, Skyrim, Tomb Raider, Zelda (Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time), and so on. I don't want to bore you any longer with my list of video games, so instead, I'll bore you by naming off a few of my favourite bands.

I know that was a lot more than a few, I'm sorry.

I might as well tell you what my aspirations are and whatnot now. Well, let's start with the fact I graduated high school in June of 2012 and planned on going to uni the following September. I wasn't too sure what I wanted to do; I juggled loads of ideas in my mind, none of which were very satisfying to me. If you used context clues, I'm sure you concluded I didn't go to college in September. I still am not entirely sure as to what I want to do with my life or where I am heading, but photography is definitely something I would very much so be interested in pursuing. Aside from career-related stuff, I one day hope to travel the vast reaches of the world and experience loads of different things before I truly figure out where I want to be and settle down permanently. I, admittedly, just want that life everyone dreams of, and honestly, the future looks very bright for me if I keep pushing on. I know if I can stay optimisitc about everything I dream about and keep hope inside of me, everything will turn out the way I suspect it will. Until something tries to prove my aspirations wrong, this is exactly how I see things happening for myself.

I guess at this point I could name off a few random facts about myself.
I'll start off with the fact I have been a vegetarian for over eight years now. I started in February of 2007 and I don't plan on ever stopping. If you're curious as to why I started in the first place, just click this link and you should be redirected to an ask I received, though I doubt anyone really cares. My love of animals is never ending, honestly. My favourite category of animals would be marine life. I love anything that lives in water; fish, sharks, whales, dolphins, jellyfish, octopi, squid, etcetera. They're all beautiful in my opinion. Besides my love of underwater creatures, I absolutely adore cats. I currently have thirteen of my own (I know what you're thinking.. crazy cat lady). I honestly couldn't deal living in a house without at least one cat. I grew up with them since the day I was born, so not having one would result in an eerie, and very empty, feeling. I actually named my cat, Arthemis (the white one), after Artemis (different spellings) in the Anime Sailor Moon, which reminds me to inform you that Sailor Moon is my most favourite Anime in the world. Sailor Neptune is my favourite Sailor Scout, of course Sailor Moon herself isn't far behind. Some other Anime I adore include: Bakemonogatari, Clannad, Clannad: After Story, Fruits Basket, Kiss x sis, K-ON!, and Strawberry Panic. Lastly, one of my most favourite things would be space. Anything to do with planets, stars, and even astrology, interests me beyond belief. I know, pretty boring, but that's me.
